Lets just say that the paint stripper that I used first hardly took any paint off. Even with letting it set 24hrs with plastic wrap on it. A heat gun worked a lot better. With the heat gun the paint bubbles up and with a blade or paint scrapper, the paint comes right off. The paint has finally been taken off of this first side. The next side and edges

will go much faster. For the next side I need to see if I can raise the door because let me tell you, it puts a huge strain on your back.

After putting the door hardware in a crock pot, the paint came right off. No problem at all. Now to polish those.
